  2. Maintain Proper Lubrication:
    Good lubrication is vital to ensure wire surface quality and prolong the die’s life. Regularly check lubrication levels, remove copper powder and impurities from the oil to prevent contamination of equipment holes. If lubrication fails, replace the lubricant and clean the system immediately.
  3. Proper Die Matching:
    Ensure accurate and consistent control of wire surface quality and dimensions to reduce wear on the drawing drum wheel and minimize equipment load. For sliding wire drawing machines, understand the equipment’s mechanical elongation and select the sliding coefficient appropriately—this is crucial for die matching.
  4. Adjust Compression Angle:
    The wire material and surface reduction rate are closely related to the compression angle of the die. Adjust the compression angle based on the size of the surface reduction rate to optimize performance.
